- $1M of Errors and Omissions Insurance
- Life Insurance License in your state of residence
- Clean background check
- Are there any fees I will incur?
- No
- Are my commissions vested?
- Yes however in order to maintain ongoing service fees and certain renewals you must maintain a broker contract in good order.
- What will be my compensation?
- Please see the MassMassMutual broker compensation schedule
- In addition to the base compensation an override paid by our organization will be paid.
- Do I get any benefits?
- As a broker you are a 1099 independent contractor and not an employee therefore no employee benefits are provided.
- Can I become affiliated with the Mass Mutual Broker Dealer to sell investments and securities?
- Only career agents can become affiliated with MassMutual’s broker dealer.
- What type of training is available?
- Weekly training on sales ideas and strategies via Zoom run by Michael Fliegelman on every Thursday at 1pm EST
Weekly training on the MassMutual portal, life illustration system and the EZ-app system by Deborah Marcovecchio every Wednesday at 1pm EST - MassMutual Home office also has training on advanced sales ideas and products
